Late Comedian Mitch Hedberg's Website Re-Launched By His Widow with New Content (Video)

Late Comedian Mitch Hedberg's Website Re-Launched By His Widow with New Content (Video) The late Mitch Hedberg had such a loyal cult following that you might even know some of his jokes--or have seen him in a movie or on TV--without knowing it. Hedberg made a quick appearance in "Almost Famous" as the manager for The Eagles, and appeared on the Loren Bouchard animated show "Home Movies" in addition to his many stand-up specials and appearances.

Sadly, Hedberg's career was cut short when he died in 2005. But his widow, Lynn Shawcroft, wants to make sure people can still enjoy Hedberg's uniquely hilarious brand of humor even today, so she has re-launched his website with brand-new content.

If you visit the new mitchhedberg.net, you'll find previously unreleased videos of Hedberg performing in his unconventional style (including a performance in which he goes backstage and delivers a few jokes from behind the curtain), plus a collection of his free-form writings.

The writings provide a fascinating look into Hedberg's joke-writing process, and indeed in some of the stream-of-consciousness journals you can see the seeds of some of his jokes.
