Larry Hagman and Linda Gray Returning for 'Dallas' Reboot

Dust off your cowboy hats and shine up those cowboy boots! One of your favorite shows from the 80s is getting resurrected – again!

This time it seems that "Dallas" is making a comeback and the old stars like Larry Hagman and Linda Gray are still on board!

Even Patrick Duffy has signed up to return to Dallas and see if there is still interest in the show that has been over for close to 20 years. What new twists and turns can they add that would make viewers watch now? 90210 ended in the 90's and came back recently, but isn’t such a big hit.

Can "Dallas" fare better?

From CBS:

"Hagman will once again play the role of the villainous oil baron J.R. Ewing. Gray will return to play his wife, Sue Ellen, while Patrick Duffy plays his younger brother, Bobby. They will be joined by actors Josh Henderson and Jordana Brewster. 'Dallas' originally ran from 1978-1991 as a prime-time pioneering soap opera on CBS. The story followed a millionaire Texas oil family with conflicts as big as the state. It first aired in 1978 as a mini-series and slowly became one of the most successful shows in television history, airing 14 years and capturing a record-breaking 90 million American (and 350 million worldwide) viewers for its final episode in 1979 to find out 'Who Shot J.R.?'"

The new story will reportedly focus on another generations of Ewings.

Are you already rubbing your hands together, waiting for a date? This could be very interesting indeed…especially if JR can be the evil thing we all loved to hate. And didn’t Sue Ellen divorce him?
