Larry David Not Enthusiastic About New 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Season

Larry David Not Enthusiastic About New 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Season Never one to gush about much of anything, Larry David stayed true to form when asked by journalists at the Television Critics Association's press tour if he plans to produce a ninth season of "Curb Your Enthusiasm," his critically acclaimed HBO comedy series.

"I really don't know," David replied. "Ask me in six months."

Although journalists and fans very much wanted to know about the future of "Curb," David was on hand at the press tour to promote his new HBO project, a movie entitled "Clear History." T

he film was written by David, Alec Berg, David Mandel and Jeff Schaffer, and it stars David, Jon Hamm and an all-star supporting cast, including Michael Keaton, Kate Hudson, Liev Schrieber and Eva Mendes. The movie's story is typical Larry David--a former executive seeks revenge on his old boss—and promises to be just as dry, profane and irreverent as "Curb."

If David does end up walking away from "Curb," he'll be ending one of the most decorated series of the past 20 years; "Curb" has collected 39 Emmy nominations, five Gold Globe nominations and four Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. It wouldn't be out of character for David, though; he left "Seinfeld," a series he co-created, after seven seasons, at the height of the show's popularity.
