Was Lady Gaga Wearing a Fake Penis at the VMAs?

Lady Gaga performed at the MTV Video Music Awards as her alter-ego Jo Calderone, a frustrated, hyper-masculine, whiskey drinking greaseball, and she reportedly went all-in all night, holding the character throughout the evening, on and off the set.

Never one to shy away from going full monty with her artistic risks, Us Weekly is reporting that "insiders confirmed" that, in addition to stubble and a greasy T-shirt, the singer was actually wearing a prosthetic penis throughout the night.

Of course, the ongoing rumor about Gaga is that she actually has a real schwantz, or is a hemaphrodite, and she has been playful about the rumor in the past. She posed for the cover of Q Magazine back in February of 2010, sporting a strap-on and saying "We all know that one of the biggest talking points of the year was that I have a d&*(, so why not give them what they want?"

She said at the time that "I want to comment on [my d^&*] in a beautiful, artistic way. How I wanna show it. And I want to call this piece Lady Gaga Dies Hard." Of course, that article ended up being called "Lady Gaga Rises," proving that even if you're a big swining d%&^, you still don't always get your way.

Was Gaga actually strapping beef at the VMAs, or is this just another rumor? After rewatching the performance a few times, we wouldn't be surprised either way.
