Lady Gaga Video Fuels Sex Change Rumors

Lady Gaga Video Fuels Sex Change Rumors An interesting thought: what would Lady Gaga be if you stripped away the Kermit Frog carcasses, meat garb, and egg-based transportation?

Would she still be Gaga – or even a lady for that matter?

The latter is actually an ongoing question that has been on the minds of fans ever since Lady Gaga exposed a little something extra at Glastonbury in 2009. The video from the music festival has since sparked controversy. Even Barbara Walters wanted to know the truth.

Despite having formally denied that she was born that way - both male and female, there are times when outlandish celebrity rumors work. The Glastonbury video received 3,400,000 YouTube hits.

As Katy Perry, told the Mirror, at the time of the rumors conception, that Gaga knew exactly what she was doing (emphasis on she).

"Oh, please. It's all very calculated," she told the newspaper. "She knows what she's doing. She put something in her knickers, a mini strap-on. Bless her if she does have a di--, but I am certain she doesn't."

Now, three years later, Lady Gaga says she’s about to tell “the story she never told.”

After images surfaced showing the pop star on top of a hospital stretcher, fans and music forums have been frenzied with renewed speculation. As the Mirror reports, some fans say it’s got to be about the sex change operation, while others say that the 70's décor in the images could mean that it’s just Gaga playing her aunt who died of lupus in 1974. Another theory is that the pic represents a suicide attempt.

“It’s not that I’ve been dishonest, it’s just that I loathe reality... The beginning of the story I never told you,” Gaga later posted.

When asked about the original video, Gaga reflected that it was one of “the biggest talking points of the year.”

“So why not give them what they want?” she concluded.
