What does Lady Gaga sound like with a twang?

Gaga, who seems to have a different wig for every mood and day of the year, is showing a new side of her musicality.

A newly released country version of “Born This Way” was made available Thursday.

Gaga calls it “The Country Road Version” which gaurantees at least one variation of the song that sounds nothing like Madonna’s hit “Express Yourself.” Gaga has taken slack for the similarities between the two.

Interestingly, when she accepted the Grammy for her work on The Fame Monster she told fans she had been thinking of “Whitney Houston” when she was making “Born This Way.”

“I need to thank Whitney Houston,” Gaga said during her acceptance speech. “I wanted to thank Whitney, because when I wrote ‘Born this Way,’ I imagined she was singing it – because I wasn’t secure enough in myself to imagine I was a superstar.”
