The Ladies of 'Friends' Reprise Their Roles for Jimmy Kimmel Fan Fiction

If you're like me, you've been hoping and praying to see the cast of "Friends" reunite on the small screen... but maybe this isn't what we all had in mind?

It's definitely what Jimmy Kimmel was picturing, however. During an interview with Jennifer Aniston, Kimmel asked her to indulge him by participating in a reading from his "Friends" fan fiction.

Aniston reluctantly obliged, and was presented with a small, well-crafted imitation of Monica Geller's kitchen (at the low-low cost of about $80,000, according to Kimmel).

Kimmel, trying on the hat of David Schwimmer's character, Ross Geller, begins a conversation about "making love" with Aniston's character Rachel.

Wait for the audience's reaction when Monica (Courteney Cox) appears, and a few moments later, Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow), joins the melee.

Expecting to see Joey (Matt LeBlanc) or Chandler (Matthew Perry)? I wouldn't get your hopes up. According to Kimmel, both died from a bite from Marcel (Ross' pet monkey on the show), and frankly, something tells us that their appearance wouldn't quite be in fitting with what Kimmel had in mind here.

It might detract from his "making love" prowess.

It's not exactly a "Friends" reunion, but for now, it will do... especially since, according to Cox, a reunion will definitely not be happening.
