Kylie Jenner Hospitalized, Will Miss Paris Fashion Week

Kylie Jenner missed the Emmys on Sunday, and now she's going to miss Paris Fashion Week because of "flu-like symptoms." Kylie was supposed to be the artistic director of make up for a Fashion Week show on Friday, and the organizers are presumably now scrambling to find someone who can replace Kylie's artistic vision and expertise. Kylie Jenner is in the hospital receiving treatment for flu-like symptoms, her rep confirmed to Page Six, and is now too ill to travel to Paris Fashion Week for work.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder, 22, was reportedly supposed to present at the Emmys on Sunday night alongside sisters Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner but was too sick to attend the show. Kylie was also expected to arrive in Paris on Wednesday to help cast models and prep for the Balmain show, as her makeup line partnered with the designer, Olivier Rousteing, for an official collaboration during Paris Fashion Week.
She was also serving as the artistic director of makeup at Friday’s show, but in a Notes app statement released on Twitter Wednesday, Kylie said she has to miss the highly anticipated event.
“Hi guys! So as you know, I was getting ready to go to Paris for the Balmain show at Paris Fashion Week for the launch of my makeup collab with Olivier,” she wrote. “Unfortunately I’m really sick and unable to travel. I’m heartbroken to be missing this show, but I know that my amazing team, and my friends who are in town for the event, will help me be there in spirit.”
