Kurt's a Writer! 'Glee' Star Chris Colfer Writes Children's Pilot for Disney We all know "Glee" star Chris Colfer can sing: we've heard him belt a few numbers with style. We all know he can act: after all, the guy won a Golden Globe. But did you know that he can write?

Colfer is writing a children's pilot titled "The Little Leftover Witch" for Disney, who has already bought the pilot. Colfer's script is adapted from a children's book, which follows the story of a witch who is adopted by a new family after she falls off her broom. Sounds cute, right?

This isn't exactly Colfer's first foray into writing: he's set to both star in and write the indie film "Struck By Lightning."

These projects make Colfer a pretty busy guy, as he's still busy with his "Glee" schedule.

Colfer and the rest of the cast have yet to film the season finale, and will go on a nationwide tour after that. Add his writing duties to all that "Glee" stuff, and Colfer is starting to look like James Franco!

For those who have been missing Kurt around the halls of McKinley high, don't worry: Colfer's character is set to return from his stint with the Warblers and be more involved for the remainder of this season of "Glee."
