Kristen Stewart And Robert Pattinson's Reconciliation A Trial Affair?

The U.K.'s Grazia Daily is reporting that the present reconciliation of "Twilight" co-leads Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart doesn't guarantee anything permanent.

In fact, Stewart reportedly has only a four-week window to put her best foot once more forward with her co-star and boyfriend.

Both met recently alongside representatives, and it reportedly took a tearful ending and many a concession from Stewart before Pattinson gave in and agreed to a one-month try at working things out.

One source claims that even meeting with her in person, Pattinson was still "stand-offish" as Stewart once more deemed her affair with her married "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders a one-time mistake that she won't repeat. Though Pattinson allegedly warned her that he may never completely get past the past two months, Stewart promised him that she would scale back her work schedule and spend more time with him in his native London.

"But he's agreed to give it a month to see if they can make it work," the source said. "If they can't, he says he will walk away. Kristen hasn't stayed over at Robert's new place yet. They have seen each other most days since their initial meeting, but they are taking baby steps. He has also requested that they don't talk about Rupert or what happened. She has nobody to talk to because Robert has made it clear the topic is off-limits."

Stewart's misstep has sometimes been as impactful professionally as personally. She ordered barred by security from attending Pattinson's August premiere of his indie-starring feature "Cosmopolis" in New York, to keep Pattinson's mind on promoting his new film. Stewart was noticeably absent from this month's MTV Video Music Awards, traditionally the stage for an annual world-premiere preview of the next "Twilight" installment.

Instead of presenting the premiere "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" trailer alongside Pattinson and co-star Taylor Lautner, Stewart instead chose to attend the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of her own new project, the adaptation of Jack Kerouac's "On the Road."

Shortly after Stewart publicly admitted to the affair in early August, it was announced that she would not be welcomed back for a planned sequel to "Snow White and the Huntsman."
