Kit Harington's 'Rehab' Facility is Ultra Luxurious

How do you deal with the pressure of having been on the most popular TV series of the day? Take a month at a "retreat" to meditate, eat gourmet meals prepared by a private chef, have massages, and work out, apparently. It used to be simply the trappings of being a wealthy celebrity, but now it's the very serious mark of essential self care. Read on for details.

Kit Harington was spotted out in Connecticut on Thursday after it was revealed he checked into a luxury rehab for stress and alcohol use.

The 32-year-old “Game of Thrones” star was seen looking more casual than his Jon Snow character on the show — in khaki pants, a black T-shirt and a newsboy cap, while carrying a leather duffel bag.

Page Six exclusively revealed Tuesday that Harington has been at health retreat Privé-Swiss for almost a month, receiving psychological coaching, meditation and behavioral therapy following the end of the hit HBO series.

A friend of the star’s told Page Six this week, “The end of ‘GoT’ really hit Kit hard … He realized ‘This is it — this is the end,’ it was something they had all worked so hard on for so many years. He had a moment of, what next. He’s in the clinic predominantly for stress and exhaustion and also alcohol.”

His rep also confirmed the news, saying, “Kit has decided to utilize this break in his schedule as an opportunity to spend some time at a wellness retreat to work on some personal issues.”

Another source told us Harington has “nothing but pride for his decision” and “If seeing Kit get help can help anyone struggling, that’s fantastic.”

The luxury retreat, which has been referred to as the “Rolls-Royce of psychiatric treatment centers,” costs up to $120,000 for a 30-day stay and offers a private chef, a fitness studio and massages.
