Oops - 'King's Speech' Star Colin Firth Forgets BAFTA Award in Bar

Most guys would just put a BAFTA Award (much like the British Oscars) up on their mantle, but apparently not Colin Firth.

Firth was up for a BAFTA award for his portrayal of the king in "The King’s Speech" over the weekend. He was favored to win, and he did. The big surprise came when the night ended.

Firth went to a few after parties with the rest of the cast from the movie, and had a few too many. He was in and out of bars, drinking it up and having a great time celebrating, until he got home and realized he had left his newly earned award in the bar!

According to the OK Magazine, "Colin went home after a post-BAFTA fete without the coveted award! He sent someone later on to retrieve it. Since he’s been nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role, it looks like this actor may have some more partying in his future."

Can you imagine how awful that would be? It might even be worse than losing your purse or your wallet…because everyone would know how careless you were!

Something tells me he'll be a bit more careful at the Oscars.
