RIP Elvis Presley: Watch Awesome Clips From His Unreleased Karate Movie

While Elvis died 34 years ago, his fans are still TCB (taking care of business).

An estimated 15-20,000 fans (and quite a few hefty, sideburned Elvis impersonators) from around the world have gathered at Graceland in Memphis to memorialize the King of Rock n' Roll on the anniversary of his death, holding an overnight candle vigil, leaving flowers and other mementos.

Here at Yidio, we're celebrating by watching clips from his unbelievably awesome unreleased karate movie "New Gladiators."

Presley had financed the karate movie and was sporadically participating in the film before his (alleged) death halted the production of the film.

According to the L.A. Times, "'New Gladiators' was supposed to be to karate what Bruce Brown's classic 'The Endless Summer' was to surfing -- a definitive film about the sport. Presley was scheduled to co-narrate and demonstrate karate moves."

The film was finally released in 2002 without the King's clips, then re-released by Elvis Presley Enterprises in 2009 with the clips intact. The edited clips themselves have been uploaded to YouTube by one of the original production execs.

Live footage of Elvis Presley kicking ass and taking names?! Wearing those dope-ass specs?! Count us in!

Hail hail to the King of Rock n' Roll - or should we say "hai-ya!" RIP, Elvis, and thank ya very much for all the great music.
