Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries Divorce Date Set
by Shannon KeirnanKim Kardashian is getting yet another of her wishes granted.
The “Kourtney & Kim Take Miami” star Kim Kardashian was concerned that her divorce with NBA star Kris Humphries wouldn’t be finalized until this July… which is, coincidentally, around the same time that her lovechild with Kanye West will be making its world premiere.
Humphries tried to delay the trial until basketball season wraps up, but on Friday, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon refused the request, noting that firefighters, police officers, truck drivers and others have to miss work for trials… so Humphries shouldn’t expect special treatment.
Two judges informed Humphries’ attorney, Marshall Waller, that he has adequate time to prepare for the next available trial, which is May 6th.
Waller has claimed he is still trying to obtain and review 13,000 hours or footage from Kardashian’s “Keeping Up with The Kardashians,” to help prove Humphries’ claim that his 72-hour marriage with Kardashian was purely for publicity, and therefore fraud…. Which will grant him his annulment.
It is a claim Kardashian denies.
Humphries also is reportedly demanding the return of the $2 million engagement ring he bought for Kardashian.
“Let’s get this case dispensed with,” says Kardashian’s attorney, Laura Wasser, who says her client is ready and eager to progress with the trail.
The trial will last around three-to-five days. More than likely, it will reveal details about the Kardashians (such as financial details) that will make regular people feel really bad about their normal lives.
Kanye West announced that he and Kardashian were expecting mid-concert in Atlantic City at the end of December.
