Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's Wedding Special Didn't Show Their Actual Wedding, But Here Are Some Interesting Details
by Andy NeuenschwanderAnother season of "Keeping Up with The Kardashians" has come and gone, this one ending with a big finale: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding.
The big, season-ending special was billed as an event, but when it came time for the episode to air, it turned out that Kim and Kanye actually didn't provide any access to the reality show in the actual wedding.
That's not much of a surprise; the wedding was pretty well covered and we knew that camera crews didn't make it in there. If anything, it was pretty clear that Kanye wanted nothing to do with it, since he always seems to hesitant to appear on the show at all.
Still, the episode gave us a look at the moments leading up to the wedding, and some peeks at how Kim was as a bride her third time around (only her second on national television, though, so good on you Kim).
She wasn't as much of a bridezilla when it came down to it: She had originally told half-sister Kylie Jenner to wear extensions to cover up her blue hair for the wedding, but Kylie skipped that request. "It's just not worth the battle and I'm gonna let it go," Kim said.
In fact, it seemed like Kanye was pickier about the details of the wedding than Kim was. "No hands in your pockets," Kim's wedding coordinator tells the wedding party. "You can imagine what Kanye would say." Gum was also apparently off-limits, but we're not blaming Kanye for that one.
Kanye even put the kibosh on one of the bridesmaid dress options, saying that the slit was too high. "I don't think it should be, like, a vagina slit," Kanye said. "It's too much." Hey man, you're marrying a Kardashian. This is your life now.
There were some really cute moments too, such as this practice wedding kiss from Kim and Kanye:
And there was North West crawling around, and Kim letting the camera crews film her for a bit despite Kanye's wishes to the contrary:
Of course, the rest was all done without cameras present, but hey, at least we got a few good looks.
