Are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Dating?

Could Kim Kardashian be rebounding from her baskbetball-playing ex-husband (pun absolutely intended) to quite possibly the most egotistical rapper alive?

If recent rumors are to be trusted, it looks like Kim K and Kanye West are now an item. The two were spotted recently taking in a showing of "The Hunger Games" (apparently neither of them were big enough fans to brave the first weekend rush), which certainly sounds like a date, doesn't it?

This might seem like an out-of-the-blue pairing, but if you have heard Kanye's recent track "Theraflu," then it's not much of a surprise. In the song, West raps about Kim K: "And I admit I fell in love with Kim / ‘Round the same time she fell in love with him / That’s cool, baby girl, do your thing / Lucky I ain’t had Jay drop him from the team."

That last bit about Jay-Z refers to the fact that Kim's ex Kris Humphries plays for the New Jersey Nets, a team that has Jay-Z as a co-owner.

Sources say that the relationship is "just starting," so any rumors of an affair while Kim was married to Kris are, for now, unfounded.

With any luck, this relationship won't end in a 72-day marriage and a whole bunch of wedding (and subsequently, divorce) publicity, but with two egos this size in close proximity to each other, you have to wonder if we're going to end up with some kind of personality singularity/black hole. Anybody have an astrophysicist nearby for comment?

Also, what is it with Kim and dating people with K names? It's all getting a little too kute. Sorry. Cute.
