Another Kardashian Shotgun Wedding is in the Works, Kim Ditching Last Name

The Kardashians don’t just sell clothes at “DASH” – and the four-letter word isn’t just part of their last name.

The family of foxy women, who are famous for being famous, live life at a dash-like pace, which includes Kim’s soon to be speedy delivery wedding to NBA star Kris Humphries.

Having dated for six months, the happy couple is ready to tie the knot in just two months. According to Life & Style, they want a wedding before the next basketball season begins so they can have a real honeymoon.

Which means Kim and Kris will be sprinting towards a July/August wedding, following in the footsteps of younger sister Khloe, who married Lamar Odom after knowing each other for just a month.

Something, not unlike Khloe and Lamar's unisex fragrance, smells a lot like smooth PR. At the sametime, gossip tabloids speculate that Kim is preggars, a rumor she denies. Odds are that the Kardashian's, living from season-to-season, have to execute such events at a pace that fits in with the real-time reality story lines.

In other Kardashian news, Kim will reportedly take on the NBA star's last name against the wishes of her mother Kris Jenner, who told Popeater “I don’t think she should take his name and be Kim Humphries ... She needs to be Kim Kardashian because she’s worked so hard to get where she is.”

Kim Humphries? Doesn't have the same ring as Kim Kardashian, and you have to wonder what kind of impact the name change will have on the Kardashian brand, which (according to Forbes) currently brings in $65 million a year to the family and $12 million to Kim personally.
