Khal Drogo Cast In 'Superman vs. Batman' As Aquaman

Khal Drogo Cast In 'Superman vs. Batman' As Aquaman First he was Khal Drogo. Then he was Conan. Now, he's DC's most recently cast superhero.

Former "Game of Thrones" star Jason Momoa has been cast in the upcoming "Superman vs. Batman" movie, according to reports. If the rumors are true, Momoa will take on the role of Aquaman, one of the main members of the Justice League.

This will mark the first time the famous DC Comics character will appear in a live-action movie; however, the role has been played before on The CW's "Smallville" by Alan Ritchson.

And then, of course, there's the story arc on "Entourage" in which Adrien Grenier's Vince Chase lands the role in a fictional blockbuster version of the superhero, as directed by James Cameron. This time around, the movie will be directed by Zack Snyder, who helmed "Man of Steel."

The casting choice is an interesting one, as Momoa is an especially physically imposing man. At 6'4", the Hawaiian-born actor stands a couple of inches taller than Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, who are playing Batman and Superman, respectively, and outweighs them as well.

Still, when you consider that Aquaman is basically a god, that's excusable. In fact, the oft-ridiculed character could use a makeover to prove to audiences that he's not the pushover he seems to be.
