Kendall Jenner Flubs Teleprompter Reading, Will Host Entire Awards Show Soon Anyway

Kim Kardashian's little sister is bad at reading. Color us shocked.

Kendall Jenner appeared on last night's Billboard Music Awards to introduce Australian boy band 5 Seconds of Summer. Only problem is, she seemed unable to read and/or say the four words "five" "seconds" "of" and "summer" in any kind of order, so she completely stopped reading.

Then, she started to introduce the band as One Direction. Realizing that that wouldn't help her, Kendall then ducked off camera, coming back up to say, "You guys, I am the worst reader ever."

But Hollywood won't let that stop them! Just today, Kendall announced that she and her younger sister Kylie will be hosting another awards show. Hosting. The whole thing. That's going to be a lot of reading.

"So excited!!!" wrote Kendall with the appropriate number of exclamation points for the occasion. "We’re co-hosting the MUCH MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS in Canada on June 15 on #Much!! #MMVAs."

While Kendall hasn't seen much blowback for the flub from the industry, 5 Seconds of Summer fans have been lashing out on Twitter. Kendall explained away the flub the best way she knows how, with hashtags: "Anndddd as if I wasn't nervous already!!!! #NeverLeavinMyContactsAtHomeAgain! #LOL #LessonLearned."

Kendall got her start on "Keeping Up with The Kardashians," having appeared on the reality show since the first season, when she was only 12 or 13 years old. Since then, Kendall has carved out a small modeling career for herself after a brief foray into fashion as she and Kylie "designed" a clothing line for PacSun. Recently, Kendall made headlines when she posed in a see-through top shortly after her 18th birthday. Nudity waits for no Kardashian, we suppose.
