Keith Urban tells Oprah, 'Nic has brought so much into my life'

Keith Urban tells Oprah, 'Nic has brought so much into my life' Australian celebrity couple Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman were guests at The Oprah Winfrey Show on Monday and shared the matters of their heart and life.

Oprah Winfrey interviewed the celebrity couple about Keith Urban's recovery from his alcohol and cocaine addiction and the singer openly shared how he recovered from addiction.

Keith Urban admitted to Oprah that he was hooked to alcohol and drugs because his life was lacking true love.  However, when he married Nicole Kidman his topsy-turvy life changed.

The country singer said his wife saved him and he emphasized, "Ultimately, for me, it was love…I look back now and realize that . . . Nic has brought so much into my life."

According to Urban, he was hesitant to return to rehab because he was worried that his marriage may fall apart. During that time he had only married to Kidman for four months. But he decided to go back to rehab because Kidman and some close friends convinced him.

The singer further said, "I'm just so glad she didn't [leave]. She made the decision to turn around and initiate this intervention. The love in that room was just right, and I said, 'Let's put the cuff on and go.'"

Urban explained to Oprah that made a huge difference."To see love in action to that degree, at that time, in that way - I had never experienced anything like that," Urban explained to Oprah.

“It was really a profound moment in so many ways…the way in which Nic handled that moment was just perfect. Everything was just designed, I believe, for that moment to fuse us together,” said Urban.

During the show, Keith Urban read a romantic love letter for Nicole Kidman and described how much he felt for his wife and his words inspired the audience as well.

Nicole Kidman said that her husband has a way with words and she admitted to Oprah, “What always gets to me is when he says he wants to put it into actions.”

The country singer ended the interview with an upbeat performance of his latest single “Put You in A Song” from his recently released album “Get Closer.
