Katy Perry's Reaction to Ex Johnny Lewis' Murder/Suicide

Katy Perry's Reaction to Ex Johnny Lewis' Murder/Suicide Poor Katy Perry. This girl is not having it easy lately.

The “Part of Me” singer is “devastated” over the news of “Sons of Anarchy” actor Johnny Lewis and his murder/suicide.

The two dated between 2005 and 2006.

A friend of the singer says that at least two of Perry’s songs were inspired by their relationship, and that dating Lewis made a big impact on the pretty crooner before she hit it big with her single I Kissed a Girl in 2008.

Perry reportedly broke it off with the troubled actor when she realized he was too much for her to handle. A source for the singer said:

"She had to separate from him… to get ahead and focus on her career. He was in trouble then and she couldn't help him. A lot of her songs were partially inspired by him. I know The One That Got Away and Circle the Drain are partly about him, as well as Travis [McCoy], but she was young and it was a time in her life she cherishes."

Perry promises to remember “the good times” she had with Lewis.

Lewis is suspected of arguing with and killing his 81-year-old landlord Catherine Davis. After their altercation, the “Sons of Anarchy” regular and “The Runaways” actor climbed to the roof and leapt to his death.

A dead cat was also found at the scene—possibly belonging to Davis or one of the tenants. Did the cat have something to do with the crime?

Lewis had been released from jail only 6 days before the incident.

Yidio extends its sympathy and comfort to the friends and family of the actor, including Perry, as well as those of his victim, Catherine Davis.

And the owner of the cat.
