Katniss Appears in First 'Mockingjay' Footage - Watch the Teaser Trailer!

Katniss is back, and she's bringing the fight to the Capitol.

Over the weekend at Comic-Con, Lionsgate revealed the first footage from "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" to conventiongoers in a hype-building spectacle that included holograms of Peeta and Johanna on stage as we've seen them in the teasers.

Thus far, the teaser trailers for "Mockingjay" had been only messages from the Capitol, propaganda pieces that featured President Snow and his newly brainwashed former victors.

But now, with this new Comic-Con trailer, we'll see what the movie will actually look like.

The trailer opens with the hovercraft that lifted Katniss out of the arena landing in the apparent ruins of District 13. There's a short exchange between Plutarch (the late Phillip Seymour Hoffman) and Coin (Julianne Moore), with the former arguing to the latter that Katniss is their real hope to unite the rebellion.

We also see more images of said rebellion, including the lumber workers of District 7 using their skills to their advantage in battle and the grain workers of District 11 making a crop-cirle Mockingjay symbol. Seeing this, Snow outlaws the symbol.

But despite all that's going on around her, Katniss gets her hero moment: When a downtrodden refugee of District 13 asks if she'll fight for them, Katniss responds, "I am. I will."

"Mockingjay" is set to hit theaters on November 21. Check out the trailer below:
