Katie Holmes Didn't Appreciate Anne Hathaway's Impersonation During Saturday Night Live Skit

Katie Holmes Didn't Appreciate Anne Hathaway's Impersonation During Saturday Night Live Skit Katie Holmes and Anne Hathaway are two of young Hollywood's brightest stars. So, imagine how awkward it might be for one of them to have to impersonate the other on a Saturday Night Live skit. Or, maybe it wasn't awkward for Anne to perform the impersonation, but was definitely awkward to watch it.

Katie appears miffed that Anne made fun of her on late night TV. Anne pulled out her best lip curl and soft spoken words and said she was channeling her best Joey Potter. (Katie's role on Dawson's Creek that made her famous). Once Anne found out that Katie was a bit ticked, she came out with an explanation. Now, read her explanation and see if it might offend you even more!

According the the National Enquirer, Anne said:

"I was a teenager when ‘Dawson’s Creek’ was airing. And I was a pretty avid fan, so it just sort of came from that. It wasn’t really Katie Holmes; it was more [her Dawson's character] Joey Potter.”

Ha! So, while Katie is down, let's kick her about her age! I was only a teenager....that's great!

I don't think it was intentional on Anne's part, but ouch. I hope Katie doesn't host SNL anytime soon, because you know what they say about revenge. And Katie has lots of time to practice her impersonations since she doesn't appear to be working right now.

Do you think Katie would come out in revenge and do a skit? Would you look forward to seeing it?
