Kat Graham of 'Vampire Diaries' to Release Solo Album 'I Want It All'

Kat Graham of 'Vampire Diaries' to Release Solo Album 'I Want It All' There's been a noticeable surge in actors trying to break into the music business lately. Perhaps it's the "Glee" influence (Gwyneth Paltrow notably is planning on her own solo album with Atlantic Records), maybe it's just coincidence, or maybe the cross-platform nature of media these days is causing more entertainers to go across other media.

In any case, Kat Graham, who plays Bonnie on "The Vampire Diaries," is the newest TV star to announce a solo album.

Graham wouldn't include herself in the list of actresses crossing over into music, though. The TV star says that she has been recording music since she was 14, but only recently kicked it into high gear.

"I really found my sound. One of my 2011 resolutions was to do my own music and do my own album," said Graham in an interview with "MTV News."

Kat recorded the single "I Want It All" last year, and feels as though it has really come together and will be a strong track for the album: "I recorded it last year, and then [producer] J. R. Rotem came in and did his thing to it, and now seeing this whole thing happen, it’s unreal for me," said Graham.

When can we expect the album? Graham is hoping for summer or early fall, and says that the album is "90 percent done."

"Vampire Diaries" might be on hiatus, but Graham won't have the time she really wants to devote to the album until they're done with shooting in April.
