Forget rocking a new house.
Who needs walls when you’ve got Justin Bieber on the dance floor?
Ask Katrina Brown, “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” featured family member, who learned some sweet moves from Bieber while her Texas house was being renovated.
Katrina responded to the lesson with true Texas reciprocity. “We do it differently where I come from,” she said starting a dance off.
On Sunday’s show the Browns were highlighted for their advocacy against texting and driving and honored by a home renovation. After 17-year-old Alex Brown died in a tragic car accident, the family united to spread the awareness about texting while driving.
Helping to save lives, they tell Alex’s story and share the wreckage from her truck at various Texas schools.
During the show, the Extreme Team sets up a “Remember Alex Brown” fund that encourages people to pledge to never text while driving.
After Katrina gets down with Justin Bieber in New York, the family learns that the 16-year old singer has also promised to donate one dollar from every ticket sold at his concert to the fund.
When the makeover is revealed, among its many uber-cool renovations is a stage that pulls down from Katrina’s wall to cover her bed. Woah.
With a framed picture of Justin nearby, it appears that Katrina will be able to practice some moves before catching up with her dance partner again. Bieber sent Katrina a video message with a special invite to the premiere of his new movie, “Never Say Never.”
