Justin Bieber Flubs Lyrics To Christmas Classic On 'The Today Show'

OK, maybe just this one time, someone should cut Justin Bieber a break.

I'll just be damned if it'll be me.

It's not like he doesn't have enough on his mind. It once more looks like his paternity suit stand-off with 20-year-old Mariah Yeater has ended with both voluntarily submitting definitive DNA.

And with all the time talking about that must take up, he could be forgiven for not double-checking lyrics before a live, televised performance on Nov. 23's "Today" on NBC.

Still . . . . dude, it's "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town."

Complete with live accompaniment and back-up dancers, Leave it to Bieber to get the first verse right but repeat the "He's making a list . . ." part when he was supposed to have sung about how the voyeuristic ol' elf "sees you when you're sleeping" before letting his voice trail off mid-verse during the correct lyrics.

Still, with a little help from an old pal with some sexy scandals in his closet himself, it could be said that Bieber broke even.

Usher also stopped by and the pair rehashed their duet of "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)" for the Rockefeller Center crowd.
