Bieber Babble: Will Justin Bieber's Dolls Need a Haircut?

Justin Bieber may have cut his hair, but his new line of dolls will still have the hairstyle that helped make him famous.

The original dolls flew off the shelves in December, but for some fans, something was lacking.

“Why doesn’t the doll have Justin’s hairstyle that you can comb?” fans asked toy manufacturer The Bridge Direct, Inc., and apparently the company heard the fans loud and clear.

According to Billboard, a new line of updated dolls will be released in August.

In addition to having swoop-able hair, the dolls will play new songs, “U Smile” and “Never Say Never.” The original dolls played “Baby” and “One Less Lonely Girl.” The dolls will also be dressed in Bieber’s signature style, including the hooded vest over a white top look.

After cutting his hair, Beiber may have opened the door to even more branding opportunities. Another doll, with accurate hair, will be needed. Plus he can upgrade on accessories. The current doll has a Tour Bus and Concert Stage playset that comes with lights and an MP3 dock. An additional beauty parlor could make for a great add-on to the playset.
