Justin Bieber Has Cancer?

Whoops. 4chan Internet pranksters outdid themselves with a new prank targeting Justin Bieber fans.
They managed to hack in and fake a very convincing tweet from Entertainment Tonight that read "Pop star Justin Bieber was diagnosed with cancer earlier this morning. Bieber fans are shaving their heads to show their support."
They added photos of young ladies with shaved heads, holding altered signs that appeared to read “Bald for Bieber,” and addition tweets from fake Justin Bieber, thanking fans for support, as well as faked tweets from Chris Brown and Kanye West expressing their sympathy to the “Never Say Never” star and singer.
“Some of my AWESOME supporters are shaving their heads to help get me through this. I love my fans. #BaldForBieber,” Fake Bieber tweeted.
Bieber’s bodyguard Kenny Hamilton was quick to answer when asked if his charge has cancer—No. So put down the razors!
Did fans, encouraged by the hoax, begn shaving their heads? No one has confirmed it, but plenty of fans set about tweeting their support to the 18-year-old. While it was all a very touching gesture, they probably weren’t too happy to find out that it was all a cruel and manipulative jest.
“Bielibers” immediately took to the Internet in their show of support, posting videos making tragic statements about Bieber’s fate, and showing pictures of shaved heads, whether real or not remains to be determined.
“Whether you’re black, white, male, or female, it doesn’t matter… Justin needs our support <3” reads a caption on one video.
“I went bald for Justin will you???” reads beneath a photo of a newly-shaven lady.
In this case of hero-worship gone horribly wrong, let’s just hope not too many young girls, etc, are spending the upcoming week sobbing over their new hair-do.
