'Jurassic World' Teaser Trailer is Truly a Big Tease

"Jurassic World" seems to have everything that's awesome in the world in it (Chris Pratt AND dinosaurs?!), so you'll have to forgive us if we're a little overexcited about this teaser trailer.

This first look at "Jurassic World" footage is a trailer for a trailer, so to speak, as it's here mostly to alert people that there will be a full trailer this Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, during the football games.

Because of that, the teaser is as teasing as it gets, showing us just small flashes of footage. But if you're a "Jurassic Park" fan, it still might be enough to give you chills.

We do get to see some dinos running in the wild (they look velociraptor-like, but considering they're running alongside an open vehicle, we're going to assume they're not carnivores), and one of Jurassic World's newfangled modes of transportation, which is some kind of moving glass ball.

We also see flashes of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in character, plus a look at the new version of one of the most iconic shots of the original movie: the tall gates of the park opening up in front of us.

But the best part of the teaser is the music: a single piano sounding out the notes of the "Jurassic Park" theme, perhaps one of the best movie themes in history.

We're sure the full trailer on Thursday will reveal a lot more, but this is still enough to get us excited.
