Julianne Hough Gets Rising Star Award; ACM Gown Drives Hubba-Hubbas, Search Spike You might think it’s Julianne Hough’s dance moves that have her trending through the roof on Google these days. The two-time “Dancing with the Stars” has won seasons alongside racecar driver Helio Castroneves and speed skater Apolo Ohno.

Or maybe for her country music career. Her self-titled album debuted at #1 on the Top Country Albums a few years ago, and the singer just released a video “Is That So Wrong,” which was banned by CMT for…well…sexy reasons.

“Apparently I was taking off too many clothes as I was dancing across my bedroom. But I don’t know … I kind of liked it,” said Hough.

Which, truth be told, is really where the trending is coming from.

While Hough is talented enough that even the theater owners gathered at CinemaCon in Vegas last week gave her a Rising Star Award, what sent her stock through the charts today was the dress she wore to the Academy of Country Music Awards. A peach halter gown by designer Randi Rahm, the backless dress showed off a ridiculously rock hard body, causing a torrent of online searches for the uber-talented chanteuse.

Those rushing to find out Hough’s story (or just see more pics) will have plenty of time to get to know her in the near future.

Besides her ongoing dancing/singing efforts, she will soon be appearing in two high-profile musical films – Paramount’s upcoming remake of “Footloose” and “Rock of Ages” with Tom Cruise.

Speaking of rocks, Hough is also dating Ryan Seacrest, who is rumored to have recently bought her a rock the size of his ego.
