Demi Moore 911 To Be Released, But Redacted

Demi Moore 911 CallSome stipulations have been made before Los Angeles city officials release the recorded 911 call that may have saved Demi Moore's life earlier this week.

The Los Angeles City Attorney's office recommended heavily redacting the Jan. 24 recording to remove any and all references to drugs Moore had been using prior to the alleged epileptic seizure-like symptoms she began suffering at a party, TMZ reports. The recommendation was explained as a measure protecting Moore's privacy and the city's liability under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.

Arriving paramedics were allegedly told that Moore had been doing nitrous oxide whippets before experiencing her symptoms, according to an earlier TMZ account. Another source tells Radar Online that what Moore experienced was brought about by combining starvation, frequent energy drinks and Adderall Monday night.

"The pills and starvation destroyed Demi and this has been a problem for about a year," the source said. Moore reportedly sought anorexia treatment while at Sherman Oaks Hospital before her release Thursday, as reported by E! Online. "She's constantly jacked up on Adderall and combining that with not eating accounts for her loopy behavior and anorexic body frame. She literally refuses to eat any food."

This health scare follows the 49-year-old "Ghost" and "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" actress' announcement this past November that she would end her six-year engagement with "Two And A Half Men" star Ashton Kutcher. Following her treatment, Moore has also removed her from the in-production "Lovelace," the biopic spotlighting porn legend and star of the pioneering adult film "Deep Throat." Moore was slated to play activist feminist attorney Gloria Steinem and alongside Amanda Seyfried, who will play Lovelace.

Moore's friends tell People that though Moore's publicist claims that stress following her November split with Kutcher contributed, these health problems have been snowballing for the last year. Those same sources claim it was Moore's lifestyle that actually finally drove Kutcher away.

"It was a sticking point for Ashton," one source said. "He wanted her to take care of herself and get a hold of things, and she wouldn't . . . Her family and friends have been really worried."
