Joss Stone at the Center of Murder Plot; Two Men Arrested With Swords, a Rope and a Body Bag (!) Grammy Award-winning soul singer Joss Stone is safe after finding herself at the center of a murder plot.

According to police, the two men whom allegedly plotted to rob and murder were found near the Stone’s UK home in a Fiat Punto with swords, ropes, a body bag and plans of the singer’s house.

While no properties were burglarized, the suspicious-looking vehicle alarmed residents of Cullompton who notified the police. After which point Junior Bradshaw, 30, and Kevin Liverpool, 33, were found on the quiet country road near Stone’s secluded home and arrested Wednesday around 10 a.m.

"The men had information and items that lead us to suspect that they may have intended to commit a criminal offense," Detective inspector Steve Parker told OK! Magazine UK.

Stone, 24, released her own statement, saying: "I'd like to thank everyone for their concern but I'm absolutely fine and getting on with life as normal while the police continue with their inquiries."

English singer/songwriter and actress Stone is known for her multi-platinum debut album "Soul Sessions" and for the Top Ten hit "You Had Me," for which she was nominated for three Grammys.

She has sold over 11 million albums in her career, and also acted in films like the fantasy movie "Eragon," as well as playing Henry VIII's fourth wife Anne of Cleves in the third season of the Showtime series "The Tudors."

Her fortune is estimated at over $14 million, so the rather dramatic murder plot was most likely motivated by money.
