Is Jonah Hill Ready to Direct?

Funnyman Jonah Hill has enjoyed a huge boost in celebrity in the past few years: he had a breakout role in "Superbad," and followed it up with starring roles in comedies like "Get Him To The Greek" and "Cyrus." Now, it looks like Jonah Hill might be stepping out from in front of the camera and getting behind it for his directorial debut.

Collider is reporting that Hill is in talks to direct the upcoming action comedy "Kitchen Sink," a project that was on Hollywood's infamous Black List (which lists the most buzzed-about unproduced screenplays). The title of the movie refers to the fact that it features the story of a zombie, a vampire, and a human who defend their town from an alien invasion...it has everything but the "kitchen sink." Get it?

Really, it should probably have robots too, but hey. I'm not complaining.

Hill is quite busy with other projects in the meantime, having just co-written the remake of "21 Jump Street" and appearing in future releases "The Sitter" and "Moneyball."

It should be interesting to see how Hill handles directing a film. He definitely has an eye and ear for comedy, and is a talented writer, but directing requires a lot out of a person...especially a film involving vampires and zombies and aliens.
