Jon Stewart Snarks On President Obama Over 'The View' Appearance, U.N. Snub

Jon Stewart Snarks On President Obama Over 'The View' Appearance, U.N. Snub For the most part, Jon Stewart has played nice with President Barack Obama on "The Daily Show" during Obama's first term.

Let the following clip remind us all, even Stewart has a bulls**t detector.

OK, so Stewart's rarely been the political fist of rage that the Fox News hordes tend to puff themselves up to be. But in satire, there's often a little truth.

Stewart's called Obama on the carpet before for seemingly not taking the office as seriously as he could - saying, after Obama's "Slow-Jam The News" appearance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" earlier this year, "Mr. President, you're the President. You don't have to do this s**t anymore!" - but he let Obama have it Tuesday for making an appearance on "The View" with his wife Michelle but snubbing face time with U.N. leaders this week.

"Obviously, with Libya in turmoil, Syria in flames, Iran on the verge of a nuclear weapon, an incredible opportunity for our president - not just to address the world community - but some high-level, pres-on-pres action!" Stewart joked.

Unfortunately, the truth is, Obama could be the first U.S. president in 20 years skipping one-on-one meetings with foreign leaders during the U.N. General Assembly.

Nuts to that, kids! It's Barbara Walters' birthday!

Is it funny or sad that Stewart led off the segment reminding his studio audience that his guest that night was King Abdullah II of Jordan?
