John Travolta Faces New Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

Let's take a different approach to this that could potentially make a thing or two much simpler: would anybody like to come forward right now and acknowledge that John Travolta has, in fact, not attempted to sexually harass them?

E! Online has today's equivalent to the the sky still being blue and water still being wet: the "Saturday Night Fever," "Wild Hogs," "Welcome Back Kotter" and "Pulp Fiction" star is facing yet another accusation that he propositioned a man for sexual favors.

This time, it's Fabian Zanzi, a former Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines employee. "This is another ludicrous lawsuit with inane claims," Travolta attorney, Marty Singe told E!. "It is obvious that Mr. Zanzi and his lawyers are looking for their 15 minutes of fame."

Just how "inane," exactly? Well, E! News got their hands on Zanzi's 16-page filing and if true, it's not pretty. Zanzi claims he was appointed Travolta's personal suite attendant during the actor's stay aboard a ship and on June 9, 2009, the actor complained that his neck had become sore.

When Zanzi reached for the neck of the actor's robe to offer him a quick, therapeutic rub, Travolta allegedly dropped his duds and nakedly "forcefully embraced" Zanzi. Though Zanzi claims he "pleaded" for the actor to stop, he continued with "nonconsensual, inappropriate, extreme and outrageous" contact. Zanzi also alleges that Travolta offered him $12,000 to keep quiet - an offer the filing doesn't indicate was accepted or refused - but that Zanzi reported the incident to "at least three" superiors.

Reporting the incident didn't simplify the situation, Zanzi claims. Quite the opposite. He claimed that following the incident, he was told by human resources director Lorena Alvarez not only that he could seek no assistance without visible physical harm, but that he couldn't fill out the required paperwork to document the incident in his native Spanish. Zanzi added that he was forced to stay in a room during the cruise's remaining five days until Travolta's departure. Though he pursued his claim with Royal Caribbean through 2011, he was constantly told to check back at a later date, and now seeks assault and battery and intentional/negligent emotional distress damages.

"In his handwritten report three years ago, the only physical contact he claimed occurred was allegedly touching my client's neck," Singer said. "The inappropriate conduct he alleges in his lawsuit is absent from his written report he submitted at the time. That glaring omission speaks volumes.

"Also calling his credibility into question is his dubious allegation that his employer supposedly restrained him in a room on the cruise ship for five days, yet after that supposedly occurred, Mr. Zanzi continued to work for Royal Caribbean for years, on multiple ships," Travolta's attorney continued. "Now, after waiting three years...Mr. Zanzi has filed this absurd lawsuit.
