Joanna Gaines is Queen of Social Media

Joanna Gaines and her husband Chip might be bringing their HGTV home renovation show, Fixer Upper, to an end, but that hasn't stopped their fans from loving them. Joanna in particular has shown herself to be a master of social media, and she continues to be one of the most popular TV personalities in the entire social media universe.

Make that five weeks at No. 1 on The Hollywood Reporter's Top TV Personalities chart for Joanna Gaines, as the Fixer Upper star jumps 6-1 on the ranking dated Nov. 15.

This guy right here... I get to live life with him. I get to hear his thoughts and benefit from his wisdom and encouragement on a daily basis. The reason I am who I am today is because Chip pushed me to go for it. People think of him as a jokester, and he is. It’s a huge part of why I fell in love with him in the first place. But he is so much more than that. He is the ultimate cheerleader, coach and dream maker. I am so thrilled that his book releases today mostly because I believe it holds truth that the world is in desperate need of. I am always proud to be Chip’s wife but today more than ever. The Top TV Personalities chart is a ranking of the most popular TV personalities on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart's methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. TV personalities are defined here as performers primarily known for their appearances on their own TV series, including hosts of entertainment/news shows. The latest tracking week ended Nov. 7.

Gaines, who returns to No. 1 after most recently ruling the Oct. 25-dated chart, is followed in the top five by, respectively, Chelsea Handler (who loses the top spot after one week), Jake Tapper, Tamera Mowry (at a new No. 4 peak) and Gordon Ramsay.
