Jimmy Kimmel Hosts Multitude of Marvel Stars
by EG
Given that Disney, owner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, also owns ABC, home of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, it's no surprise that the studio is turning Kimmel's show into a massive ad for the upcoming Captain America: Civil War and other MCU movies. But even if it's an obvious marketing ploy, next week's appearance of the movies' stars on Kimmel's show still promises to be fun for fans.
On Monday, April 11, Kimmel's guests will include the members of Civil war's Team Captain America, including Chris Evans (Captain America), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Sebastian Stan (Winter Solider) and Anthony Mackie (Falcon). On Wednesday, April 13, Team Iron Man - Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) and Paul Bettany (Vision) - will visit the show. Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6.
On Tuesday, April 12, Benedict Cumberbatch, star of the highly anticipated Doctor Strange, will be on hand to debut the film's first official trailer. Doctor Strange is scheduled for release in November 2016. Also appearing on that night's episode of Kimmel will be Clark Gregg, star of ABC's Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. series.
On Thursday, April 14, the spotlight is on guest Chris Hemsworth, the star of Thor: Ragnarok. This third installment of Thor's corner of the MCU is scheduled for release in late 2017.
