Jimmy Fallon's New Ben & Jerry's Potato Chip Ice Cream

Jimmy Fallon's New Ben & Jerry's Potato Chip Ice Cream Potato Chips. Ice Cream.

The two, standing alone, can make a perfect snack for television watching.

But together? Well, that’s just crazy – enough to be awesome, and right up Jimmy Fallon’s alley.

In honor of the second anniversary of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Ben and Jerry have developed a new ice cream flavor that combines potato chip clusters (covered in fudge) and fair trade vanilla bean ice cream with a salty caramel swirl.

As Ben and Jerry explained, the flavor hits the spot for late night “munchies” and cravings for salty or sweet.

Food critics are giving it great reviews, but one San Francisco-based ice cream maker is calling the flavor out as a copycat.

Humphry Slocombe tweeted Wednesday, “Wow, nice new flabor Ben & Jerry. When’s the last time you had dinner@Sporksf?”

Apparently, Sporksf serves a similar ice cream produced by Humphry Slocombe called “After School Special.”

It can only mean one thing for ice cream lovers: more to go around.
