Jewel and Her Bull-Riding Beau are Expecting a Baby!

Jewel is not playing any "Foolish Games" this time around. The singer has announced that she and hubby, Ty Murray, are officially pregnant!

This is great news for the 36-year-old singer and her husband of more than 2 years because the couple have been trying to conceive for a while.

Back in 2008 friends of the singer told OK! Magazine "She (Jewel) told her team to clear her schedule for 2009" in hopes of starting a family.

Jewel broke the news today, telling People Magazine "I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!  It was so hard to keep it a secret. I was worried I'd start throwing up on set and everyone would be like, 'Oh, she's pregnant.'"

As far as musical projects go, the former Nashville Star host says that she is just trying to enjoy her pregnancy. Other projects are in the works though, such as the remodeling of her Texas ranch to make room for the baby.
