Jessica Simpson's Brand to Sell $1 Billion This Year

Whethet she's singing or acting, Jessica Simpson seems to polarize people. Love her or hate her (and there are plenty of people who do both), her brand name is stronger and more popular than ever.

Simpson's dad and manager just announced what the projected sales figures will be for this year – and they are staggering!

Simpson's line of clothing, shoes, perfume and other designs will take in approximately $1 BILLION – yes, that’s billion with a B – dollars in sales.

How incredible is that for a fairly young name and fashion guru?

Other designers and fashion people take years and years to reach that status – if they ever do. Jessica managed to reach it in just a couple short years. One more reason why people don’t like her..??

That will represent a stunning 25 percent increase over her 2010 gross and put the singer-turned-designer in the same financial company as Michael Kors and other far-more established fashion leaders. This, according to a profile of Simpson upcoming in New York Magazine."

WOW! Did you have any idea that the "Dukes of Hazzard" starlet's designs were that popular amongst women and girls? The success of Simpson's designs hasn’t been commented on very much – I wonder why? People love to tear her music down, but why not comment on how well the rest of her brand does?
