Jessica Simpson's Halloween Announcement: 'It's True! I am going to be a Mummy!'

What a frickin' bizarre day for news. First Kim Kardashian's quickie divorce, and now this.
After weeks of media speculation after a series of pictures emerged making her look well....baby-bumpy, Jessica Simpsons officially announced today that she's pregnant. We think. Unless she's just pulling our chain, mummy style...
Simpsons breathlessly tweeted "!!!ANNOUNCEMENT!!" earlier this afternoon, including a link which led to her website, where she's posing dressed as a mummy holding a rather prodigous belly, next to the clever quip "It's True! I'm going to be a mummy!"
The mummy baby apparently belongs to her Yale-educated fiance, former 49ers tight end Eric Johnson, to whom Simpson has been engaged for almost a year.
While the timing and the way the announcement has been handled is a little strange, Simpson's baby looks to have a bright future.
We reported earlier this year that besides the money she makes from a lucrative recording career, Simpson's clothing brand brings in a mind-boggling one billion (with a "b") dollars per year.
It may take that much in counseling fees to eliminate the psychological damage caused when the kid finds out how his mama broke the news of her pregnancy to the press. Assuming this is all real. Which we're still not sure it is. I mean come on - take a peek at the pic...
