Jessica Alba Stars In 'Spy Kids: All The Time In The World' Trailer

Give director Robert Rodriguez this: no one in their right mind would ever call him one-dimensional.

For every gritty, slam-bang action flick he makes that turns a big, big box-office profit, he's on the cusp of his fourth film in the marketable, critically loved "Spy Kids" franchise with "Spy Kids: All The Time In The World."

This one stars Jessica Alba ("Sin City," "Machete," "Fantastic Four") as an ex-spy-turned-wife-and-stepmother (to a spy-hunting TV reporter) whose kids have just been recruited into the Spy Kids organization. The Timekeeper (Jeremy Piven) has put a world-domination plot into play, and it's up to a newly reactivated Alba and her two kids, Rebecca (Rowan Blanchard) and Cecil (Mason Cook), to call time-out stop him.

It's definitely imaginative, and besides, between "Sin City," the long-rumored "Sin City 2" and "Machete," Alba is fast becoming a Robert Rodriguez favorite on par with other featured performers in his projects like Danny Trejo, Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek.

The film also stars Joel McHale, Trejo and Banderas, and is set to hit both conventional and 3D theaters August 19.
