'Jersey Shore's' Pauly D Drops a Hint: Did Ronnie Actually Not Hit The Situation?

'Jersey Shore's' Pauly D Drops a Hint: Did Ronnie Actually Not Hit The Situation? One of the big promos hyping the newest season of "Jersey Shore" has been the rising tension between Ronnie and The Situation. The show started off with the drama early, as a disagreement over Sitch's behavior toward Snooki had Ronnie looking down in disapproval.

Almost every trailer for the show, meanwhile, has shown Sitch and Ronnie screaming at each other, and Sitch getting carted off in an ambulance. Plus, there were these images showing sitch with a shiner on his face and Ronnie with cut-up knuckles. That all lead us to believe that Ronnie socked Sitch in the face.

But in an interview with "Access Hollywood Live," castmate Pauly D may have revealed a twist. "You'd be surprised at what actually hit Sitch," said Pauly. Interesting...so maybe Sitch got something thrown at him?

Maybe, in attempting to keep the two away from each other, one of the other housemates bumped him? But then what about Ronnie's knuckles? Did he just get mad and punch one of those rustic Italian exposed brick walls?

Check out the clip below and see if you can come up with a theory based on Pauly's statement:
