Fitting: 'Jersey Shore' Star Pauly D Launches Own Line of 'Pre-Game' Vodka
by Andy NeuenschwanderMost of the "Jersey Shore" cast members are satisfied to take random endorsement deals to make the most of their fame and earn some extra cash on the side. If you have watched the show, you have undoubtedly seen commercials for Stacker 2 and other varities of energy drinks, protein powders and generally guido and guidette-friendly products pushed by the cast.
But Pauly D isn't satisfied to only endorse: instead, he's launching his own business venture with, fittingly enough, his own brand of booze.
Remix Pre-Game Cocktails are Pauly's brainchild, a line of vodkas that come pre-mixed in the bottle, designed for drinking before going out to the club. Lest you think this is some half-baked idea, Pauly is working on this venture with the co-founder of Skinnygirl and a former exec from the company that makes Grey Goose vodka, Tom Bruno.
In fact, Bruno had some very nice things to say about the "Jersey Shore" star: "I found Pauly to be very sincere, endearing and incredibly well-thought-out about what he wanted to do," said Bruno. "He sounded a lot like I did a long time ago."
Pauly D may be the most industrious of all the "Jersey Shore" castmates. He was the first to get a spinoff ("The Pauly D Project") and continues his work as a DJ, recently having taken up residence in Las Vegas and performed with Britney Spears. Unlike Snooki, he does not have a book deal, but we're sure that's coming soon, right?
In any case, Pauly's Remix vodkas sound a heck of a lot better than the protein-infused vodka that The Situation was peddling a while back. That stuff would make me vomit more than Snooki urinates in public.
