'Jersey Shore' Spin-Off: Snooki and Jwoww Get Their Own Show

'Jersey Shore' Spin-Off: Snooki and Jwoww Get Their Own Show It looks like Pauly D won't be the only "Jersey Shore" star getting a spin-off show. According to  Reuters, it's official - Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "Jwoww" Farley will be teaming up for their own brand-new reality show in the near future. MTV has already ordered twelve episodes of the Snooki/Jwoww spin-off, which is yet to be named.

The tearful goodbye shared between Jwoww and Snooki at the end of the season three finale will tell you how close these two have become since shooting began on "Jersey Shore." That friendship will be the foundation of the new spin-off, which will follow the two guidettes as they look for love and, of course, party hard.

The spin-offs for Pauly D, Snooki and Jwoww aren't a reason worry about the future of "Jersey Shore"...at least, not yet. MTV still plans to go into production on season four, even though some of the castmates (including these three) are holding out in hopes of negotiating higher pay and the start date for season four has been delayed.

However, there have been rumors that this upcoming season will be the last that "Jersey Shore" will offer, at least with the current cast. The contract negotiations and planned spin-offs seem to back up that theory. The whole thing definitely feels like the cast is looking out for their futures in television.

Production will begin after they wrap on season four of "Jersey Shore," so it's looking like we might not see the misadventures of Snooki and Jwoww until 2012, and even then possibly not until the fall TV season.
