'Jersey Shore' Season 5 Premiere Date Set: Watch a Sneak Peek Video!

It's that time of year again, when the leaves change color, football is back, and "Jersey Shore" is off the air for a few long, usually cold months.

If you're a "Shore" fan and looking for a date to look forward to, get your calendar out: the premiere date for season 5 of "Jersey Shore" was just announced today. Yeeeahhhh buddy!

The gang returns to TV on January 5th at 10pm (same Bat-time, same Bat-channel), kicking off 2012 with a bang and a fist pump. Season five will mark the return of the crew to Seaside after their stay in Florence, Italy, where they proved to be completely disinterested in the history and culture of the city. Then again, what did we expect?

We already know there's going to be some drama in the new season as well, as Vinny was spotted leaving the "Jersey Shore" house early in the filming of season five. We can only imagine the depths of despair that Pauly sunk to while Vinny was gone. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino also reportedly stormed off set, but Mike being dramatic isn't exactly anything new.
