A Strike 'Situation': Half of 'Jersey Shore' Cast Holds Out on Contract, Endangering Season Four

A Strike 'Situation': Half of 'Jersey Shore' Cast Holds Out on Contract, Endangering Season Four The fourth season of “Jersey Shore” is in jeopardy as contracts have not been finalized.

RadarOnline reports that an inside source says that Snooki, The Situation, JWoww and Pauly D are holding out because they can’t come to agreement on the amount.

Flexing a bit of that red-hot Italian temperament in advance, the cast is on a sort of strike, which happened last season when the cast was able to triple their salaries to $30,000 per episode.

In recent weeks, show members have shown that they are aware of just how much their popularity is worth. The Situation has recently talked about the desire for his own series, and Snooki recently did an interview with Rolling Stone where she talked about continuing her career with or without MTV.

This season, the cast is set to film in Italy, which means contract negotiations are urgent.

“Time is short, everyone is getting concerned because they're supposed to leave for Italy soon, I just hope they can settle it," Radar’s source said.

It’s reported that Deena, the newest member of the show, has not signed her contract, as well.
