'Jersey Shore' Causes Italian University to Issue Warning to Students: Stay Away! The Jerseypocalypse is coming, and Italy is doing everything it can to prepare...even if that means telling its people to flee.

The Istituo Lorenzo de' Medici, an Italian university, has done just that: it has issued a warning to its students to stay away from the 'Jersey Shore' hooligans. Apparently the apartment that the cast will be staying in also houses a number of the university's students.

A letter to those students, obtained by TMZ and translated, reads as follows:

"Dear Students, our Housing dept. has informed us that starting May 9th there will be shootings inside the 2nd floor apartment of your building. We advise you to NOT sign any paper, let anyone in, and keep us informed."

I'm assuming that since this letter was written by university faculty, the odd wording is because of the translation. Nonetheless, the message is clear: run, children! Run for your lives!

I'm sure that not only does the university want to protect its students, but it also wants to make sure they don't do anything that paints the university in a bad light. After all, nobody wants to be one of those girls who gets brought back to the house by Pauly, Vinny and Mike. That's doubly true about being one of the girls that gets brought back to the house and then promptly kicked out.

Luckily, the students have options: the university has offered alternative housing for the students in the building. A good thing, too: it's going to be really hard to study with Sammi and Ronnie screaming all the time.
