'Jersey Shore' and 'American Idol' Mash-Up: Watch Sammi Host 'Idol Party Live' Tonight!

How do you make "American Idol" even better? Throw in a little "Jersey Shore!"

The MTV News live-stream show "Idol Party Live," which airs after the elimination show tonight, will feature a guest host in Sammi Giancola, star of "Jersey Shore."

Sammi will be joined on the show by Popdust editor Maura Johnston and Rachel Zevita, an "Idol" contestant and top 24 finalist who was sent home last week. We should see some questions about the show answered by Zevita, who has the inside scoop. Additionally, the show will feature interviews from current "American Idol" contestants still in the running.

If you're an "Idol" fan, the show is a great way to get extra analysis and inside info after watching "Idol" every week. And if you're a "Jersey Shore" fan, you'll get an extra dose of Sammi!
