Jennifer Lopez Breaks Down on 'American Idol'

Season 10 of American Idol has been a tearful one. We've seen tears of joy, tears of frustration and the tears of rejection.

On last night's Vegas elimination round the bulk of the tears came from new judge Jennifer Lopez.

After Idol hopeful Chris Medina walked the "Green Mile" to the hot seat he was face-to-face with an emotional Lopez.

Lopez let the singer down easy, offering words of support and encouragement, and telling him to keep singing because there are bigger things in his life than this competition.

Earlier in the season we learned Medina was singing for more than just the title of "American Idol". He was also singing for his fiancee, Juliana, who was injured in a tragic car accident just months before they were set to wed.

While Medina seemed at peace with his journey and the effort he put forth, Lopez felt that she did not properly express herself while cutting him from the show.

As soon as Medina left the stage, Lopez broke down, looking to cohosts Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler for reassurance.

Just as the show was going to commercial break we heard Lopez utter the words, "I don't want to do this anymore."

Now we are left to wonder, will she return tonight to continue the eliminations or will Randy and Steven be on their own?

I guess we will have to wait 'til tonight's Idol to find out but my gut tells me she will be back!
